About a dozen people have been arrested for trying to hydrate Schiavo. Her parents say that she is fading quickly and could die any day.
Would you go as far as to try to sneak food and water to her?
It seems to me that this whole situation is pretty sick. One aspect that has hit me about it lately is that judges keep turning this down and have allowed her feeding tube to be removed, when it seems a majority of the American people don't want her to die.

She broke the law. My cynical side says "Go to jail". My other side says she was doing what is right, and should be rewarded.
Motive is important. My also cynical feeling is that most of these people are performing these stunts to make themselves out to be martyrs.
The idea of being a martyr is not new. It was the idea behind the civil rights movement and is a normal way of getting attention for a cause.
Unfortunately, I don't think most of Americans are supportive of Terri. I think America has failed a very important test. The fact is, there isn't a general feeling in mainstream society that Terri should be kept alive. It's a matter of basic principles. Some may not have them and still make the right decisions in most cases. But if they become at all confused by any issue, their lack of solid grounding comes shining through...and they make a poor decision.
Lol. No exaclty a good group to survey, considering you agree with many of them.
BTW: Maryrdom isn't the smart way to fix this. Breaking the law when a legal solution can still be found.
While that may be true, why are we not rushing into abortion clinics to stop them?
