Undeniable Truths in Life: Part 32

#32: Peace does not mean the absence of war.

The dictionary definition of peace is:
  1. The absence of war or other hostilities.
Peace really is not the absense of war or hostilities between aggressive equals, but of domination. True peace can never happen withouth one side winning, either in War, politics, or sports (Red Sox vs. Yankees anyone?). When domination occours, then peace follows. A treaty can be made between two nations, but if they are still at odds and of comparable strength, then there is no peace.
