Government has an important purpose, but we the public often expect them to over-manage and fix every situation.
Yes, Government has a purpose. It is spelled out in the Constitution. None of the plans beings discussed are included in the Constitution except for the defense of our nation. There is where Obama fails to act. The other areas of his agenda are to move us away from our Constitutional Republic and toward more socialism. The quote on the blood letting is accurate, that is what killed George Washington it seems appropo.
