Reid on Republican Opposition to National Destruction
"“If you think you’ve heard these same excuses before, you’re right,” Reid said. “When this country belatedly recognized the wrongs of slavery, there were those who dug in their heels and said, ‘Slow down, it’s too early, things aren’t bad enough.’ ”" (Hat tip to the Hill)

"Those" people were Democrats.
What does slavery have to do with health care / insurance?
Who are the fools that elected these morons?
Yes it was the Democrats who fought to keep slavery and they too fought agains Civil Rights. It was the Republicans who fought to stop slavery and to end the inequality of the races. Once again H Reid is an idiot. Open mouth insert foot but it will not be mentioned by the mainstream media and the majority of the public don't know the history of the issues.
Regardless, it still has NOTHING to do with health care / insurance!
When Harry Reid popped off with this one, I am ashamed to admit that an expletive crossed my mind in reference to him. He does bring that passion out in me if my guard isn't up.
My sole consolation is the thought that he'll be voted out in the next election, hopefully with a sweeping, repudiating margin.
