Hamas takes a blow

Story: "An Israeli air strike Thursday killed the top Hamas enforcer in the Gaza Strip, Palestinian hospital officials and group members said.

Israel has accused militant faction leader Jamal Abu Samhadana of spearheading rocket attacks on Israel and of the fatal 2003 bombing of a U.S. convoy in the Gaza Strip."

This will be a week long remembered in the halls of terror. It has seen the end of Zarqawi, and the end of Samhadana.

Air strikes for both of them. There's an old saying 'He he controls the sea, controls the world.' I think that may well have been replaced with 'He who maintains air superiority controls the world.'

Can we have some targeted airstrikes, please? Preferably targeted on no.10 and 11 Downing street and the Labour party HQ.

God Bless

Haha. Is that the Crazy red guy?

If you mean the prime minister and the chancellor, yes. But I will settle for an airstrike on the Mayor of London if you're too fond of Blair.

Yes, I am rather fond of Blair. I cannot name one world leader who has stood by the US in such a fashion as Blair.

Matthew Celestine said...

It would be nice if he started standing for Britain more.

Yeah, I guess his domestic politics are garbage. But we just got away from Clinton, whos forign and domestic policies were garbage, so Blair seems like a decent chap over here.

Don't forget that Blair and Clinton were big pals before Bush took over.

Lol. Bad company.

Would Putins replacement have the same out look on the war on terror as blair, or is it a party thing over there, with the labor party being the warhawks?

Not sure what you mean about Putin- where did he come in?

David Cameron the Conservative leader is not very consistent on the Iraq War. However, he is likely to get on very comfortably with a Republican administration in the USA.

Gordon Brown the likely successor to Blair in the Labour party has supported Blair on the War on Terror, but if he has any sense he will disntance himself from Bush and the War on Terror if he takes over, in order to get on better with dissidents in the Labour party, as well as much of the public.

Sorry, I meant Blair. I was thinking that Putin was bad company for W as well, and that they were chummy.

What is/was Camerons position? Was he opposing it just to oppose Blair?

I take it Iraq is not a popular thing over there?

The government has been seriously damaged by the whole thing; perhaps rightly so.

David Cameron supported the war, but more recently said it was wrong. He is not one for making clear what he really believes. He prefers to say what will sound good. He is very smart.
