Iran takes a stand

"Iran's president, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, declared Sunday that Israel had "pushed the button of its own destruction" by launching its military campaign against the Iranian-backed Hizbullah militia in Lebanon."

Suprise, Iran wants to destroy Isreal, and
'isolate' it's allies in the west. How? I presume with bombs strapped to kids for Isreal, and Oil embargos on the US and others.

Great war going on people, and I've missed a lot of it. Its about time Isreal defended itself.

It's a farce to listen to Anan of the UN and others saying that Israel's reaction is disproportionate. Well, when Israel pulled out of south Leb in 2000 under the UN resolution that Hezbollah will be disarmed and that didn't happen. Hezbollah has said that it wants Israel to be annihilated. The intrusion into Israel and kidnapping was the first step in doing so. If Israel only dropped a few bombs, it will only be a matter of time before Hezbollah do it again.

Very good article. It's pretty simple, if you mean peace you will get peace but Hezbollah never wants peace. The latest is that they don't want peace but a cease fire and prisoner swap first...Unfortunately many in the world are so dumb enough to believe that these radicals do want peace, blah blah blah.

Yup. Just like they believed the 'Land for peace' deal.

Appeasers drive me nuts.
