Story: "The sale of imitation samurai swords could be banned by the end of the year, the Home Office announced today.
Importing or hiring the weapons could also be made illegal following a string of samurai sword attacks in recent years.
Breaching the ban, which is targeted at cheap imitation samurai swords rather than the more expensive genuine collectors' items made by licensed swordsmiths in Japan, would result in up to six months in jail and a £5,000 fine.

80 attacks in 4 years? And that deserves a ban? I would almost think this was a hoax, but the telegraph isn't exactly known for its humor section.
First, the guns are essentially taken away from the law abiding people, and the crime rate skyrockets. The answer? Take their swords.
Liberals never learn.

exactly right, look at switzerland for example.

Although I don't see why anyone needs a cheap imitation for law-abiding purposes, the saying rings true: the criminals will find a way to get them anyway--most likely.

I think it's hilariously hypocritical for some of these rabid anti-gun crusaders to call for taking our guns away at the same time they're packing heat themselves. They say they have to carry for "protection."
Typical liberals. The laws they want to force down our throats never apply to them. You see, they know better than "the great unwashed."
