Story: "The South Carolina house has given key approval to a bill that would require women seeking abortions to view an ultrasound first.
The bill passed a second reading Wednesday. A third, usually formality third reading will take place later.
If this bill is passed, it would be the first of its kind in the nation.
Rep. Greg Delleney (R-Chester and York Counties), is the bill's key sponsor. "I'm just trying to save lives and protect people from regret and inform women with the most accurate non-judgemental information that can be provided," he says."
Sounds like a good idea to me.

Go to this link and read or listen to John Piper's sermon on why abortion is racism. It's very good I tell ya.
It's better if you listen to it or watch it.
I like these incremental, seemingly small yet potentially gargantuan steps. They remind me of the last ditch effort of the abolitionist William Wilberforce (Have you seen "Amazing Grace"?), where he wiped out most of the slave trade with a bill that--at face value--did not even appear to be directly about slavery.
Pro-abortionists are most effective in seducing pregnant women when they can make the case unhindered that a fetus is "not really a baby," or simply by ignoring the element of the baby. I would think that a mandate like this could severely hamper their argument/methods.
P.S. My last two posts on Kingdom Advancing are about abortion.
