According to that aeticle,
Congress has been putting prossure on the military to put armor on all out veichles.
The only reason they aren't armored is because congress hasn't given us the cash!
Apparrently supporting illegal immegrants and citizens who are to lazy to support themselves has a higher prioity that making sure are Army boys have the tools they need to keep us safe.
Yes, I am a little upset.
BTW do you realize that this blog is Google's #1 hit for Ulta Armored Patrol?

I think the new UAPs will bedesigned better for urban war, rather then just slapping some new ammor on the vehicles.
