Indian mascots are banned from the post season. What happens to a team that has an indian mascot and makes it to the postseason?

...another case of political correctness run amok.
My Grandmother was half Comanche/Cherokee, and I am proud to refer to myself as part "American Indian"...woops, did I just say the "I" word?
The name "Indian" isn't a very accurate name for Native Americans, (a name the first European explorers gave to the natives of the Americas because they mistakenly thought they had reached India), but it is certainly not a derrogatory name such as the "N" word, which is understandably insulting to people of African American heritage.
If we are going to drop the name "Indian" from our vocabulary, then it would only be honest to drop the name "American" from the title "Native American", because after all, America wasn't referred to as "America" when the first Natives lived here, and the Natives certainly didn't choose to have their land taken away by Europeans who renamed it "America". - See how silly all this can get?
I think it is insulting to ban this team from playing for having a Native American mascot whether the mascot is referred to as an Indian or not. This to me is worse than referring to us as Indian, because it is as though they are ashamed of Native Americans.
