Iran: Say your wrong and your sorry!

Story: "Iran's foreign minister said Wednesday that Britain must admit that its 15 sailors and marines entered Iranian waters in order to resolve a standoff over their capture by the Mideast nation.
...
The Iranian official also backed off a prediction that the female sailor, Faye Turney, could be freed Wednesday or Thursday, but said Tehran agreed to allow British officials to meet with the detainees.

Mottaki said that if the alleged entry into Iranian waters was a mistake "this can be solved. But they have to show that it was a mistake. That will help us to end this issue.""

Is that what this is all about? Iranian pride, and not wanting to admit they made a mistake? So they take some sailors captive by accident, and then hold them until Britian admits they made a mistake, contrary to all evidence?

I think we should have already pounded their shoreline and oil wells beyond recognition. Letting this kind of evil have free reign over the rest of the world is unbearable.

The Iranian behavour is appalling. I cannot conceive of how their actions are going to strengthen their position.

This hearkens back to the days of the hostage crisis in 1979. I remember it well as a young guy beginning my radio career. I forget who did the song, but WLS Radio in Chicago began airing a parody of the Beach Boys' "Barbara Ann," singing "Bomb Iran" instead.

This does seem like the proverbial snowball rolling downhill, doesn't it?

Appalling and without reason, indeed.

Bomb Iran. Yes. We should be at war with them right now.

I disagree with your statements that they are "...not wanting to admit they made a mistake" and "So they take some sailors captive by accident...." It was deliberate and Iran knew exactly what they were doing.

Weather we should be at war with iran or not aside, it should not be for the reason the took british sailors captive. we simply need to mind our own buisness.

yes, have some fun with my last statement.
