Witness: British were in Iraqi waters

Story: "An Iraqi fisherman who said he saw Iranian forces detain British sailors and marines on Friday in a waterway between Iraq and Iran said yesterday the ship British forces were searching was anchored in Iraqi waters.
...
The fisherman, the same one who said he witnessed the sailors being detained several hours before it was confirmed by the British government, said the line between Iranian and Iraqi waters was not marked by buoys but was well known.

“We’ve been working in this job for many years and because of our experience we can distinguish which is the Iraqi and which is Iranian side,” he said, adding that Iraqi boats never venture across because of tight security by Iranian coastguards.

He said the ship the British forces were searching was among several that had been anchored for a week or more, waiting to unload or take on cargo at an Iraqi port. “The ship was in Iraqi waters,” said the fisherman, who spoke on condition of anonymity because of security concerns."

Ah, so let us see the number of grievances against Iran right now:
1. British Sailors, Marines taken at gunpoint into Iranian Prison.
2. This occurred in Iraqi waters.
3. Trial for espionage and spying, although they were clearly uniformed and inspecting ships for smuggling.
4. The allegation that Briton is for some reason attempting to violate Iranian waters, which is clearly false, as both Satellite and and eyewitnesses show.

And so this brings us to a key question: What would Margaret Thatcher do?
Remember the Falklands? Or how about this,
"I seem to smell the stench of appeasement in the air."

We shall see the reaction. If I was in charge, I would have declared war on Iran around 8pm last night, and if I was in charge of the US, I would soon be declaring war on Iran with the UK.

The only way to defeat evil is by destroying it, you do not negotiate with it. Did we negotiate with Hitler or the Japs in WWII? No, we destroyed them.

Yeah, they are pretty spontaneous.

Most manical, murderous thugs running nation-states are.

Let me hearken back to the days of Ronaldus Maximus Reagan. The day he took over from the inept Jimmy Carter, the Iranians released the hostages. Hmmm. Wonder why?

Later on, Libya poked its thumb in our eye one too many times, and Reagan sent the jets in to bomb Khaddafi's house. Ol' Moammar was awfully quiet for a long, long time afterward.

Maybe it's time to send a few Harrier Jump Jets to pay Ahmadinejad a visit.

No, we need to appease the Iranians so that we can have "peace in our time!"
