What comment can there be? Even if you are strenuously against illegal immigration, you cannot complain that we don't want drivers to taken them out running across the highway.

Whatever your stance on immigration, see the movie "Maria Full of Grace". It shows the most beautiful picture of what America is about.

Yeah, I don't understand why the US can't simply treat illegal immigrants as immigrants who are here illegally. It makes no sense, if they want to get in then they can get in the right way, with the right paperwork and stuff, the US will let almost anybody in with little to no questioning.

Well, I am from Texas and my family has been from Texas since before it was the U.S. Spanish is a native language and there has always been a strong connection with the cosmic race, as onw writer has termed the Mexicans. I cannot imagine the border being that tight, nor do i want it that tight. We need to be concerned about foreign terrorists, not Mexican and latin American imigrants.

Treat them as illegal immigrants? We do exactly that. Live as an illegal for a month and come and tell me that it is a bed of roses.

Stop the stupid whining about illegal immigration from Mexico and put your efforts on something that really matters: Migration of jobs to India. Did anyone here notice last weeks first confirmed conviction in India of identiy theft? Employees at an Indian call center stole pin numbers of Citibank customers and cleaned out the accounts. We are sending jobs with access to our personal financial information abroad and you are bitching because we let "illegal" Mexicans come to our country to perform the cheap labor that we want?

Watch these movies for some easy non-scientific research: Maria Fulle of Grace, Del Norte, And A Day Without A Mexian.

lol... Now we're looking at movies to base policy desisions off of.

They are illegal imigrants, yes, but running into something with your car, even if it is a soft-bodied organic, does do damage. The sign is there to warm the drivers to be safe, both for the lives and the economic reason.

Movies were not for policy decisions. You don't make policy decision, but that may give you a different perspective on illegal immigration.

Especially, Maria Full of Grace. I think it states what is so great about this country in a beautiful way.

Interesting that you recommended "Maria, Full of Grace", as my brother had just recommended it. He said it was a great movie and very thought provoking regarding illegal aliens.....so I will have to check it out.
I ,too, have been very concerned about outsourcing our jobs to India and wonder how on earth this is going to affect our economy? It just seems crazy . When you look at all that is involved, it seems like it is a bad move all around.

See it. It is slow sometimes, but at the end it hits you and you say to yourself "yea, that is what American is about."
